About

Kathy is a writer and speaker who relies on Jesus to daily equip her to follow Him. She offers encouragement to empty nest parents to embrace the holy, often hilarious, and sometimes heartbreaking work of loving their people well.
A fledgling empty nester herself, Kathy believes there is meaningful work to do within individual families and the greater community to build faith across generations.
Kathy has worked for over two decades in church ministry as communications director, office manager, Bible study teacher and small group leader. She is a wife, mother of two married children, and a double dog mom. She and her husband live in upstate New York.
Kathy’s first book was recently published; she is a contributing author to a collaborative book called “Reclaiming Me: Embracing Life and Purpose With an Empty Nest,” published by Hope*Books.
